During our healing therapy sessions, we combine Shamanic healing with somatic therapies. These sessions are designed to help you explore the root causes of any discomfort you may be experiencing in your body, mind, and spirit. Each session is unique and tailored to what intuitively emerges from the issues you bring to work on.

Somatic Therapies

Brainspotting

Involves identifying and processing specific points in a person's visual field (called "brainspots") that are linked to traumatic or emotionally charged experiences. Nancy will help you focus your attention on these spots while processing associated thoughts, emotions, and sensations. It's often used to address trauma, anxiety, phobias, and other emotional difficulties.

Somatic Movement 

A holistic approach to movement and body awareness that involves exploring and experiencing the body's sensations, movements and patterns to increase awareness, release tension, and improve flexibility, posture, and overall well-being. Nancy focuses on bringing compassion, curiosity and attention to where it’s needed in the body.

Yoga, Breathwork & Meditation

Tantra (not “tantric” which is related to sharing sexual energy) is a diverse and ancient spiritual tradition that originated in India. It encompasses a wide range of practices, beliefs, and rituals aimed at expanding consciousness, awakening life force energy, and opening up potential. Tantra involves meditation, yoga, and breathwork techniques to channel and transform energy, into spiritual growth and liberation.

Hypnotherapy & NLP

Both are therapeutic approaches used to promote personal development, behaviour change and emotional healing. Nancy will use these techniques during relaxation, to aid a deeper rest. Sometimes a hypno-meditation can be given as a post-session exercise to support further healing. These therapies are great for reprogramming and building a stronger supportive mindset.

Nancy will also often provide a self-reflection, self-development or ritual exercise to perform and incorporate into your life as a way for you to make more progress and change in the area needed, so you can free yourself out of your patterns or unhealthy habits that keep you stuck.

How to work with Nancy

Single Session

Focus on 1 particular issue or challenge during this 90-minute session which can be held either in person or online.

You can also choose to add Mentoring to your sessions.

Package of 3 Sessions 

Deep dive into a larger more complex issue, or a wider range of challenges during a series of sessions.

What is Shamanic Energy Medicine?

Ancient wisdom meets modern healing practices. 

Rooted in indigenous traditions and infused with contemporary psychology, Shamanic Energy Medicine offers a holistic approach to well-being. It works with energetic forces and tapping into the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit through practices such as energy clearing, cutting cords and soul retrieval. 

It’s considered the bridge between the physical and spiritual.

What can I expect from a session?

Whether you choose to have an in-person, or online distance healing, the process begins the same.

The first 30 minutes will be spent connecting and discussing the issue you bring to work on. Questions will be asked and attention will be brought to the body, emotions and sensations. Techniques like brainspotting somatic enquiry may be used, if appropriate to what is coming forward.

We will then move on to Shamanic healing this will normally take around 40 mins before finishing the session discussing what came forward and any after healing exercises will be given to help further support you post session.

Nancy will talk through what is happening during the session, however some information is saved until the end so you can digest is better.

In Person sessions:

You will be asked to pick a stone that you feel intuitively calls to you to work with from my Mesa. You will be asked to blow with intention all the words, feelings and sensations of the issues we have just discussed into the stone, then you will lay down to relax to receive energy healing. 

The stone will be placed on one of your energy centres (chakras). Nancy will then work intuitively with her guides to cut cords, remove unwanted energy, and retrieve parts. The healing can last for 45mins. 

At the end, we will discuss what came forward with any messages that you need to hear. 

Nancy may also offer an exercise for you to do on the days after your healing to initiate further healing and understanding so you can move forwards fully with intention.

Online sessions:

Shamanic energy medicine healing can be done through distance healing just like other energy healing practices like Reiki for example. I will call you from an online video platform via a link provided when you book the session.

We will run through the session in the same way as in person, however, I will have chakra stones placed in the healing space at the studio and you will lie down somewhere comfortable, and quiet, at home. The choosing and blowing into the stone will be done via intention from where you are. Everything is done via energetic intention online but it works just as well as in person. Please try to ensure you will not be interrupted where possible during the session.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions you’ll require depends on the number and complexity of challenges you are looking to overcome. 

If you are new to healing, start with a free consultation and then 1 session to see how you like and take to this style of healing. Then Nancy can advise you on whether further sessions are required. Some issues can be resolved in a single session, while others can take up to 3 or more. 

For complex issues or to create real change and transformation in yourself, your life and your relationships, we would recommend a block of 9 sessions.

Is there anything I need to prepare before a session?

  • Take some time to put your attention on the issue(s) you are looking to work on during the session

  • Try not to rush around before the session so you arrive calm and ready to start your healing journey

  • Wear loose clothing so you are comfortable to rest

  • Don't drink alcohol on the day of the session

  • Don’t eat or drink caffeine for a couple of hours before the session. You will be lying down and will want to be comfortable

How will I feel after a session?

You will leave the session feeling well-rested.

However, every individual and session is unique, so don’t be surprised if, in the following 2 days, you experience layers of emotions, some of which may feel uncomfortable; thoughts, emotions or body sensations.

This is all part of the normal healing process. Being compassionate and kind to yourself is important as well as carving out time to relax after a session, refraining from drinking alcohol or filling the time with too many distractions.
